AKG DMS70 Quattro Digital Wireless Microphone Vocal/Instrument Set

The AKG DMS70 Quattro is a professional digital 2.4GHz wireless microphone system for worldwide, license-free operation. With 24-bit, 48kHz audio coding, it provides uncompressed studio-quality transmission and a linear frequency response, for uncompromising vocal and instrumental performances.

This system comes with one handheld microphone transmitter and one beltpack instrument transmitter. The mic capsule in the handheld transmitter is from the AKG D5 microphone, a professional quality hypercardiod dynamic that sounds great, with crisp, clear high frequency response and a warm, deep bass response. The beltpack DPT-70 transmitter features 1/4" input and a standby switch. Both systems are good to 100 feet line of sight.

Additionally, the DSR-70 receiver is a four-channel system, each with discrete XLR outputs and individual volume controls. There is also a summed single XLR output if you are short of input channels on your mixing console and you prefer to use the per-channel volume control on the receiver to adjust the relative volumes that way. Another really sweet feature is the fact that you can turn off all four transmitters from the receiver. It comes with a rackmount kit as well.

128-bit AES standard encryption prevents tapping of the audio signal, which makes it a perfect companion for high-security conferences. The dynamic frequency selection (DFS) ensures that only the cleanest frequency bands are automatically selected for the connection between receivers and transmitters. The DMS70 is up and running in fractions of a second. The digital receiver and transmitter diversity provide rock-solid, drop-free signal transmission. A maximum of eight channels can be operated simultaneously.
