The Perfect Introduction to Percussion

By Murphey from Fort Worth, TX on 2/15/2011 10:11:17 PM

I bought this book along with a pair of Innovative Percussion IP-1 sticks and a practice pad, as I was intent on teaching myself the stick essentials of percussion before investing in a drum kit. The instruction was clear, the illustrations illuminating, and the exercises did wonders to build my rudimentary skill and general dexterity. I can't recommend this book enough, whether you are picking up your first instrument or adding to your repertoire as I did.
