I have been playing the French Horn for six years now, and although I still play at an intermediate level, I have recently acquired this wonderful "French Horn Bible," as my French Horn tutor calls it. Whether helping a beginner French Horn student know which mouth piece to use or aiding in the practice of lip slurs of octaves for advanced players, this book by Farkas certainly breaks down everything a Horn player needs to know about their instrument. I am so grateful Music & Arts had this book in stock, it has even become an inspiration for me and without it, I may have not ritualized my at home practices as Farkas suggests a player do or I may have eventually quit the passion that began so many years ago.
