Alvarez RC16HCE Regent Series Classical Acoustic-Electric Guitar
The Alvarez RC16HCE Regent Series Classical Acoustic-Electric Guitar is a great classical hybrid guitar and constructed using many of the same components and techniques used in building their higher end instruments. The nut is 2mm wider than standard dreadnought or folk guitars but 7mm narrower than a standard classical guitar, so it plays like an acoustic guitar neck but with nylon strings.
This acoustic-electric version has a 3-band EQ and cutaway and is equally at home on and off stage.
It has a spruce top and mahogany back and sides, classic tone woods that generate a warm and well-balanced tone. The neck profile on the Regent Series a little finer so they’re easier to play and every model is constructed using a dovetail neck joint that optimizes the transfer of energy between the neck and body.
This instrument has also been finished using an electrostatic painting process for a more even finish that uses less paint in its application. This allows the guitar to sing a little more and it also looks fantastic. It also has a PPS saddle and nut help to improve response and sustain.
