Alvarez RD12SP Regent Series Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar
The RD12SP Street Pack includes the RD12CE 6-string acoustic-electric guitar; a great sounding dreadnought with a spruce top and mahogany back and sides, classic tone woods that generate a warm and well-balanced tone. It has a cutaway body and a preamp with a 3-band EQ and tuner.
The pack also includes everything else you need to hit the road or perform. The A-mini battery powered 5 watt acoustic amp has inputs for a guitar and microphone plus auxiliary and headphone outputs, as well as a 3-band EQ. Also included in the pack are a guitar cable, gig bag and strap.
Alvarez have made the neck profile on Regent Series a little finer so they're easier to play and every model is constructed using a dovetail neck joint that optimizes the transfer of energy between the neck and body.
All Regent Series instruments are fitted with the Alvarez bi-level bridge to carry more vibration to the top, which improves tone and resonance, and the PPS saddle and nut help to improve response and sustain.
This instrument has been finished using an electrostatic painting process for a more even finish that uses less paint in its application. This allows the guitar to sing a little more and it also looks fantastic.
