Bari review

By Josh from FC, Colorado on 10/3/2010 10:45:19 PM

oh my dear lord does this reed suck. in this case you truly pay for what you sound like. I have a Legere plastic reed that my director hates but comes in handy in a pinch. when i got this reed i almost snapped it in half! it does not make the clarinet sound like a clarinet. its like blurred sounding mush, now do note you should never ever ever get a plastic reed if you have been playing long like i have (10 years) for beginners and marchers it fine but if you do insist on getting a plastic reed get a Legere, its most definitely worth it. you sound like a clarinet, not the best sound in the world but you do indeed sound like a clarinet. this reed does not even deserve one star; take my word for it and put your money in something that is worth playing on, wood(better than plastic) or Legere(not as good as wood). Happy Playing, Josh
