Great rest, not sure about maintenance

I purchased this should rest at the request of my 14 year old daughter who has been playing for 10 years. Previously she used the standard Kun design, but was never satisfied with the position. I didn't think she would like the extreme shape of this one, but she has had it now for several months and loves it. My one concern is that the pads on the arms are coming off already. The glue used is not holding them in place as she puts on and takes off the rest from the violin. I expect we shall have to replace them occasionally.
