CAIG ProGold G5 conditioning solution improves conductivity and provides long-lasting protection on electrical contacts and connection whether they're base metals, gold, other precious metals and connections. Use ProGold G5 on plated connectors, contacts and metal surfaces for maximum performance and protection. ProGold G5 is a maximum performance conditioner, protectant and lubricant for gold, silver, rhodium, copper, bronze, nickel—any plated metal electrical connections, contacts and metal surfaces. For severely oxidized or contaminated surfaces, pre-clean with CAIG DeOxIT Power Booster.ProGold is designed to dissolve small amounts of oxidation. The 5% solution is recommended for critical applications where only slight cleaning action is necessary. If the surface looks clean, applying CAIG DeOxIT Power Booster first is usually not necessary. Otherwise apply ProGold after DeOxIT on plated metal surfaces. The more critical the connection or part, especially with low current applications, ProGold should be the final step. For reference, ProGold has approximately 0.5% cleaning action.
