This is a great comprehensive book that all trumpet players should have. It teaches the basics all the way up to triple tounging and more. I would suggest that this book be bought after at least one year of playing so that the student can go right into technique already knowing how to play. The only reason I gave this product four stars instead of five is because of the binding. It is a very thick book and it is difficult to stay open. It should be spiral bound so it can be laid flat on a music stand.
