Good beginner throne for the money

I purchased this throne for my son's first drum set. It is very sturdy and serves it purpose well. For the money, I am satisfied. There is a locking ring on the base of the stem that locks the height adjustment into place so that the seat does not slide down. Overall a nice all-purpose drum throne.
