Great clean tone with crystal clear highs

I installed the HS-4 (formerly called the "YJM") in the nect position of my MIM strat. This pickup is very similar to the HS-3; a low-output pickup with great tone. Opposite of the popular technique used by many to achieve a distorted strat tone (ultra-high output pickup), the idea here is to use a good clean pickup that sounds amazing (which the HS-4 does) and distort the signal over THERE (the amp) and not HERE (the guitar). The result is an overdriven tone that's clear as a bell at the same time. Just like Yngwie Malmsteen's tone. This is a stacked humbucker, so there's no buzzing from your amp.
