Selected this package while doing a restoration on a 1975 Fender P bass. Installation was easy, and the sound profile of the DP122 is hotter, with more punch that the original pickup, while still retaining the classis P bass sound. With the CTS pots that are included in the package, you can roll off the highs on the bass if needed without making the tone muddy. It's a great choice of you want to update the original P bass sound.
