Poor Quality

By ACOLBY from Blacklick, Ohio on 4/19/2012 3:12:55 PM

I purchased this case and upon receiving it, I opened the packing boxes and was surprised to find that the rear hinge was not connected and the tacks that were supposed to hold it in place had been poorly attached and were loose and not in the back of the case at all. I do not think there was any quality control provided when this case was made. The Music Arts store I ordered it from immediately ordered a new case for me. years ago I had a Gibson ES 335 and the case that came with it was superb. This Epiphone se may last one year and I don't play nearly as much as I did years back. I guess you get what you pay for when "Made in China" is on the package. i may look for a Gibson ES 335 case and put my Epiphone Guitar in it. I know it won't fail me.
