EPIPHONE Emperor Swingster Hollowbody Electric Guitar

The Epiphone Emperor Swingster features archtop jazz guitar styling and updated electronics including SwingBucker pickups with push/pull tone controls that allows a choice of standard series or parallel pickup wiring for a brighter tone. The Swingster guitar has a shorter 24-3/4" scale that helps facilitate challenging jazz chord inversions. The body features a spruce top, a laminated birch/maple body and a 3-piece maple neck topped with a rosewood fingerboard.

Other vintage features of this hollowbody electric guitar include chrome hardware, Grover Rotomatic 16:1 tuners, bound f-holes, thumbnail fingerboard Inlays, and a Bigsby licensed vibrato tailpiece with wire arm along with a "pinned"(non-floating) Tune-O-matic bridge with roller saddles for smooth operation and accurate return to pitch which is preferred when using the vibrato. Case sold separately.

Epiphine Emperor Swingster

By Cam from Australia on 11/6/2010 5:14:50 PM

Overall a great guitar for the price...easily one of the best value guitar ive bought in my 20 years of playing as its so versatile (for acoustic, heaps of great clean, dirty and even fairly heavy rock tones )with the coil split humbuckers..sounds good unplugged or really good through my tube amp and plays very well.. ive had guitars that costover 3 times as much not play as well .. the licensed Bigsby looks tops and stays in tune, ive just upgraded to a tusq nut(from factory plastic one) and added imperial tuners just for looks , paint is very good though there are a few very minor hard to notice blemishes here and there and i think ill get some better quality pots ,caps and jack cause im picky... though for what i paid this is an excellent buy and for your info Total Guitar also gave this guitar 5/5 stars. There arent too many guitars around this good at this price .........
