A perfect compliment to the Faber family

By Bryan Harrell from Virginia Beach, Virginia on 2/15/2011 10:31:29 PM

As a music teacher, I have tried several instructional series (Bastien, Alfred, etc), and I have always come back to the Faber books. They are very well-written and explain musical concepts thoroughly. I especially appreciate how my students see their Performance songs as a reward to their completion of each Lesson , followed by Technique. I always tell them "Lettuce, Tomato, then Pickle". They get a kick out of that!
