Fender Tim Armstrong Hellcat Left-Handed Acoustic-Electric Guitar

Based on Tim Armstrong's beat up old Sixties acoustic, on which he writes all the songs for the legendary punk band Rancid, the Fender Tim Armstrong Hellcat left-handed acoustic-electric guitar is ready to slam its way into the mosh pit. Tim has given his acoustic some modern flair and style with pearl acrylic "Hellcat" logos on the 3rd, 5th, and 7th frets while a couple of skulls adorn the 12th fret. Other features include Fender FTE3-TN preamp with built in tuner, strap button, scalloped bracing, solid mahogany top and a look that will have you singing "Roots Radicals" till your Mohawk is ready for its next trim. Fender includes Tim's custom "Let's Go" guitar strap that perfectly complements this acoustic's edgy visuals.

fender tim armstrong hellcat

By shane clark from social circle GA. on 2/21/2011 11:04:42 PM

I recently bought this guitar, and i am in love with it. I have the right handed version and it is a great guitar for someone with small hand like me. The neck is very slim and is very easy to reach chords you normally could not reach with a smaller hand. I is also a slimmer designed guitar which means less fatigue in your picking arm when playing for long amounts of time. the sound is amazing, very surprising. The projection is great i have got a lot of complements on this guitars sounds, and looks, its nice to be able to afford a guitar with custom inlays on your fretboard. The string spacing is another aspect of this guitar that does not get talked about enough, it is so easy for fast picking on this guitar, but rather your flat picking or strumming this guitar does amazingly. The preamps of this guitar sound really good as well no feed back, and the built in tuner is a very nice feature for playing live, but rather your playing at home or on stage, this is truly a great guitar.
