Fox Model 330 Oboe with Low Bb Vent Key

The Fox Model 330 oboe features a high quality plastic resin body whose bore hand reamed and finished by Fox craftsmen. It has silver-plated posts, bands, and bell ring, and stainless steel arbors and wire springs. The keys are nickel silver with nickel silver hinge tubing and heavy silver plating.

It additionally features a handmade modified conservatory mechanism including left hand F, alternate C, and articulated C#, with the exception of the split ring Eb-E trill key, Ab-Bb adjustment mechanism, 3rd octave key, and low Bb vent key. Cork pads on low C and above, F# key tab, Teflon tipped stainless steel adjusting screws. Each instrument is individually hand tuned to A-440 pitch at 72° F.
