Fox Renard Model 333 Protege Oboe
The Model 333 is Fox's least expensive oboe. Fox doesn't make any "cheap" oboes. This instrument is ideal for developing a student through middle school, into and even through high school. It has every key the student will need to develop on the instrument, and sounds and plays at a level that will thrill the student and his or her director.

The Fox Model 333 has a high quality plastic resin body that has been hand reamed and finished by Fox craftsmen. It features silver-plated posts, bands, and bell rings, stainless steel arbors and wire springs. It is equipped with nickel silver keys with 18% nickel silver hinge tubing and heavy silver plating.
Its handmade simplified conservatory mechanism includes a left hand F key, F# key tab, and a solid (non-articulated) C# key. Cork pads are featured on low C and above, as are Teflon-tipped stainless steel adjusting screws. Accessories include a sturdy plush-lined instrument case, reed and reed case, screwdriver, silk swab and cork grease. Individually hand tuned to A-440 pitch at 72 degrees Fahrenheit, with maximum resonance and projection.
