Pretty Decent Horn

I like this horn the most of the Getzen line. It is definitely a high quality instrument considering the price point. One of my pet-peeves with Getzen instruments is the silly design of the water key. It is a push-button style key that sticks open on a regular basis. This is a flaw that I have noticed with multiple instruments. There have also been cases where the whole mechanism has come unsoldered leaving a hole in the tuning slide. The horn itself, like the product overview says, is very free-blowing. In my opinion it is a bit too free-blowing and can get easily distorted at high volume. The finish is decent but lacks a good luster. If this horn is at the top end of your price-range, get it. If you can spend a bit more, look at the Bach or Schilke lines.
