Gon Bops Pete Engelhart Shield Bell
Gon Bops is proud to present Pete Engelhart custom percussion instruments. Made one at a time in his Berkeley, California shop, each bell is handcrafted by Pete himself and stamped with his signature. The shield bell is hand-welded and left raw, with only a clear coat to protect the metal's surface. The instrument is then pitch-tuned by Pete's discerning ear. More like sonic works of art, Engelhart bells only grow sweeter with age. No two bells are alike, and each one is painted red on the inside, Pete's signature color.
Pete's Gon Bops shield bell is fitted with the patented Gon Bops V-Clamp mounting system, which provides strength and versatility.
