Great stand!

This is a great stand. My daughter uses it when she plays her double bass; cranked up to standing height, it is heavy and well-built enough to be very stable, not tippy or jiggly. The double shelf is deep enough to easily hold her bow, pencils and rosin. The fuzzy lining protects the bow nicely. The price is very reasonable for such a great stand, especially considering the free shipping (it is heavy). This isn't easily portable, not a gig stand. But as a home/studio/school stand, can't beat it.
