It is rather designed to add richness and volume to the overall crash. Bell sounds in Hammerax Indigo crashes tend to integrate with the cymbal as a whole, although the buttons do allow for woody stick sounds.Another technical breakthrough of the Hammerax Indigo Crash cymbal is the near elimination of the "hum note" or low "ooh" sound heard in most cymbals. The fundamentals of Indigo are so low and soft that they won't interfere with vocals or chords.
