Great Starter

By Travis Ware from Hagerstown, MD on 2/17/2011 10:10:09 PM

I bought this guitar because I wanted a cheaper Electric- Acoustic guitar to play at shows. This guitar can submit a great tone and I find it easy to play and everything I wanted when I started looking around for a new guitar. I love the cool look of it as well.

Looks great but examine it first!

By Z from Herndon, VA on 2/16/2011 10:58:19 PM

I bought this guitar for my eight year old son. Made him feel like a rock star so he was willing to pick it up and practice. Unfortunately the neck was warped and twisted, and luckily it's still under warranty so we will get a replacement. So definitely examine the guitar before you buy.

Beautiful

By Jay from Purcellville, VA on 2/16/2011 10:58:54 PM

I first picked up this guitar when I was on a tight budget, and looking for a nice product to play and enjoy. With this guitar, Ibanez blew me away. Let me start with the neck of the guitar. It is shaped very similarly to a electric guitar neck, making it play and feel like an electric guitar. The frets are also are very comfortable, and easy to get familiar with. This guitar sounds wonderful in an amplifier, however if you wish to play it unplugged, it sounds just fine acoustically as well. The tone is very warm, and enlightening. You can play just about any kind of style on this guitar. Both finger-picking, and regular picking itself feel very natural on this guitar, which allows you to play classical and flamenco guitar, all the way to acoustic blues and rock. The only "bad things" I could say about this guitar is the amount of occasional feedback that occurs when played in an amplifier, however feedback can't really be helped with acoustic electric guitars. Personally, I love to play "wish you were here" and "crazy on you" on this guitar, among other songs, just to give you an idea of the wide majority of music that can be played on this guitar. So, if your looking for a nice, warm sounding acoustic electric guitar for about two-hundred dollars,Ibanez has you covered with this beautiful guitar. I Highly recommend it.

talman accoustic electric guitar

By nathanael from chesapeake va on 8/17/2011 1:45:12 PM

I love this guitar it looks really cool sounds great and is fairly inexpensive. Its a kind of small guitar (about the size of an electric guitar)but its extremely comfortable to play even for a big guy like me. The built in tuner is great you don't need an amp you just have to plug in a guitar chord. I play in church and its got a great sound. i would recommend this guitar to anyone who wanted a modern looking acoustic electric.
