The MIDI Solutions M8 merges up to 8 MIDI ins to one MIDI out, and may be chained together with other Mergers for as many inputs as required. All MIDI messages appearing at any of the 8 inputs are merged to the output (including System Exclusive and MIDI Time Code messages). A fast merging algorithm ensures that MIDI data is processed with minimal delay. The rack mounted M8 MIDI merger is MIDI-powered, and requires no batteries or power supply to operate with most products. A MIDI indicator LED lights up when the product is powered and flashes when MIDI data passes through it.
