Mapex Meridian Maple 5 Piece Shell Pack with Free Floor Tom
This Mapex Maple 5-Piece Studioease Drum Set is appointed with 7-ply, 100% maple shells that produce full-bodied, rich, low tones. The drum shells feature Mapex's freshly engineered I.T.S. Mounting System that enhances the drums' resonance by mounting to the lug casings for less shell contact.
These redesigned drum mounts are lighter and less bulky, and enable you to change drumheads while the tom is still mounted to the tom holder.
The Mapex Meridian Drum Series offers a streamlined look and feel. From tom holders, to lugs, to their tom mounting system, Mapex has rethought everything on this drum set. The result: a lighter, easier to set up, and more tour-friendly set of drums.
Form-fitting memory locks fit the bottom contour of the mounting bracket for quick and easy setup night after night without slipping. An optional cymbal arm may be mounted to make for fewer tripod stands on the floor when stage space is tight.
