Mapex QUANTUM MULTI TOMS 6", 6", 10", 12", 13", 14"

Quantum multi-toms feature interior plyies of walnut for superior warmth that results in better projection of tone and pitch. This shell combined with the deep progressive cut produces a loud, full, and dark overall sound that doesn't get choked at high tension. The lightweight aluminum tube style lug minimizes hardware to shell contact, and creates an overall appearance that corresponds nicely to the Quantum snares and bass drums.

Way under-rated

By Brandon from clifton, VA on 2/15/2011 5:59:04 PM

The tenors are fantastic. I marched with them in the Macy's great American marching band on thanksgiving day and they sound far greater than anyone has ever given them credit for. They built to shift the weight into a more comfortable position and the hardware is very manageable. But the best part is the sound quality. It gives a very "pure" tone from the maple plies and the walnut is the kicker. It adds 3 times the warmth without taking away the nice bright attack. When searching for tenors for school or personal use, these are not to be overlooked.
