The Mapex Special Edition Saturn Birch/Walnut Snare is an extension and addition to the distinctive Saturn sound. Mapex has taken the rich sonic characteristics of walnut and combined them with the bright and articulate punch of birch. This add-on 14"x 5.5" snare has a robust construction of a 7.1mm, 7-ply shell and is complemented by 2.3mm power hoops and single-point of contact lugs.
