Meinl Woodcraft Series Conga
The Woodcraft Conga Drum embodies tradition combined with exceptional workmanship. It's Meinl's high-end traditional "Cuban Style" Congas with some modern details. Their sound is rich, round, and full.
The drum shells are crafted in the "Cuban Style" for extra volume and roundness of tone. The 2-ply shells are made from selected American White Ash and finished with a handsome zebra finish. The hand drums come headed with hand-selected True Skin buffalo hide heads that deliver a full spectrum of luscious tones and clear slaps. Drum heads are secured on with the TTR Traditional Tuning Rim. All the hardware is strong chrome-plated steel made solid, the way a conga drum ought to be.
