Mitchell Acoustic-Electric

By Susan from Westerville, Ohio on 2/17/2011 12:34:49 PM

This is a terrific guitar. My son went into the store to pick out an acoustic-electric guitar. The Mitchell was the least expensive of the group, however, it had the nicest sound. His guitar teacher came by and let us know that he had the Mitchell himself. SOLD!!! Great guitar, great price! Thanks!

Great value

By tim from poquoson, Virginia on 3/6/2011 7:30:57 PM

I recently took up the guitar. I've been a drummer for years, but wanted a portable instrument to write,(make up melodies on). A friend at work is a luthier, and has been giving me some pointers on our lunch break. I keep the guitar at work for conveience, so I wanted a nice sounding guitar without spending alot of money. He recommended that minimum it should have a solid spruce top.I bought the MD100SCE. Not only do I think I got a great deal, but he did too.It holds it's tune, has beautiful binding, and right out of the box a nice sting height off the fretboard. My friend was amazed that a guitar that plays that good, and looks that good, and features on board electrics could be made for less than $200.00.I took it with me on vacation. I've been playing it just about everyday, and would recommend it as the best guitar for anyone that wants a pro look and sound on a beginer's budget. Thanks! Mitchell, and Music and Arts for having great values at convenient locations.
