Music & Arts and Musser, I just couldn't go wrong.

I have always been around the Musser name so quality wasn't a question. I wanted a marimba that I can use personally for my own practice and for my students practices and recitals. Something really portable. And something that would give a good sound. Rosewood has gotten so costly these days so the Paduk wood was the next best thing. After trying a few different pairs of mallets I have found the match of Promark's JM6 and JM7 for great sound on this instrument. The setup is easy and fast. As for the order, Bianca was really accommodating in answering all my questions at the store. Music & Arts had the best price and made me feel that they were 'hand selecting' this instrument for me. Once it arrived they helped set it up and allowed me to play on it for an hour in the store so that I was sure it was the sound I wanted. I couldn't ask for a better experience.
