Pearl Flutes PFP-105 Grenaditte Piccolo

The Pearl-105 piccolo employs composite Grenaditte. As this material is impervious to temperature and humidity, there is no danger of cracking and intonation is much more stable. It has a highwave style headjoint, French pointed arm keys, and pinless construction.

This piccolo is absolutely great. It plays so freely, and sounds just as good as a wooden piccolo. My only problem was when I played in the heat, it did warp slightly and now my F# is a bit funny, but I'm getting that fixed and I use the middle key instead of the third and it usually works fine. I highly recommend this piccolo overall, especially with the wave headjoint.
