The lethal combination of 6 plies of 100% maple free-floating in a super lightweight aircraft Aluminum frame creates a force to be reckoned with. The drums' 2-ply maple reinforcement rings provide solid shell stability and shape integrity, which promotes optimal head seating and consistent tuning. 16-Strand synthetic gut snares offer a tremendous advantage over the competition by offering a larger contact area with the bottom head. This in turn provides increased sensitivity at lower playing levels and dramatic power as volume increases. The individual strands are also removable, offering the widest tuning range of any drum on the market.
