The construction of the pieces is absolutely marvelous. A 4 ply, 5mm, 100% maple shell and a 4 ply, 5mm, 100% maple reinforcement ring provide unbelievable quality of sound. The inside shell is non-lacquered, allowing for the sound to remain pure and the response to be maximum. Finally, the 2.3mm steel Super Hoop II withstands any amount of tension that could possibly be needed.Variety of finishes
