Pro String Winder/Cutter

When first looking at a winder tool for guitar stringing I never really thought much of it and didn't think it was worth the sticker price. After being persuaded by a very helpful Music&Arts sales clerc, however, I got my hands on one of these guys and never looked back. It's built pretty tough and sports an ergonomic handle that's good for a "quick-string" when in a tight spot. This winder/cutter cut my stringin time by at least 80% and I find myself stringing three guitars in the time it usually took to string one. It did feel pretty loose on the pegs from time to time and would slip up but that usually didn't take more than a sec to reposition. More color variety would help too but that's nothing more than an aesthetic detail. I do admit though, it's REALLY nice not to have to go fumbling around for a pair of plyers or wirecutters to get at those pesky strings at the guitar head anymore.
