Resonans Viola Shoulder Rest

By Kaylee from Mesa, AZ on 10/3/2012 10:01:11 AM

This shoulder rest is good for people who are just joining the out-of-sponges-into-shoulder-rest-world. Great starter. Does fall off quite a bit and you do have to apply a bit of pressure to both get it on and off, and to help it stay on, but otherwise it's a good shoulder rest. I would prefer a different, more sturdier shoulder rest, but otherwise, this one is easy to use and helps you get by if you forget your other one or just as a starter.

Not good at all

By abi from lewis center, oh on 1/13/2011 6:17:31 PM

My mom and I bought this thinking it was a great shoulder rest for cheap. Boy were we wrong. It kept scratching my instrument and the screws kept coming undone. I even brought it to my strings teacher at school and she told me that I should return because I had bought the worst shoulder rest out there. So i recommend you get a kun shoulder rest (that is what my teacher recommended) because you won't be wasting your time- or money.
