Rockstop Review

By Joan from Springfield, VA on 2/15/2011 10:27:13 PM

As a cellist who has been playing on all kinds of floors for the past 15 years, I have tried almost every type of device there is to keep my endpin from sliding; this has included spare shoes to trying to jam the endpin into wooden floors and nearly damaging the instrument. I have also tried more formal methods from the seat-strap rockstop, which I find very limiting as I move around a great deal while playing and don't like to feel so attached to the chair, to little rubber stoppers that I find do nothing at all. Not only is this plainest of rockstops the most effective, it is also the most affordable and I highly recommend that all cellists of every age and skill level keep one in their case at all times.
