Bridge SNAPPED OFF --This could have had a terrible consequence!

The wonderful salesman at the Music & Arts center ordered this starter pack online for me to give to my little nephew. Before wrapping the ukulele as a birthday gift, I thought I'd tune it. At least the tuning would be in the ball park when he opened it. To my utter surprise, and horror, the bridge snapped right off, bruising my right hand!! I hate to think of this happening if the child tried to tune this ukulele-and it snapped off in his face!!
