Product Overview
Consumer Alert - Most users do not need a license to operate this wireless
microphone system. Nevertheless, operating this microphone system without a license
is subject to certain restrictions: the system may not cause harmful interference;
it must operate at a low power level (not in excess of 50 milliwatts); and it has
no protection from interference received from any other device. Purchasers should
also be aware that the FCC is currently evaluating use of wireless microphone systems,
and these rules are subject to change. For more information, call the FCC at 1-888-CALL-FCC

Shure PGXD14/BETA98H Digital Wireless System with Beta 98H/C Mic
The PGXD14/Beta98H Digital Wireless System from Shure adds the clarity of 24-bit digital audio to the legacy of trusted Shure microphone options for wireless performance. This system includes the Beta 98H/C, a precision-engineered miniature cardioid condenser microphone with integrated clip and gooseneck for horn applications, as well as a PGXD1 bodypack transmitter, and a PGXD4 receiver.
The Beta 98H/C is a premium cardioid condenser instrument microphone that clamps onto the bell of wind instruments or onto the rim of percussion instruments. The integrated gooseneck and ratcheting swivel joint allows the mic to be easily positioned and secured, and an isolation shockmount reduces the transmission of instrument 'key noise' and other mechanical noise. A gooseneck angle brace is included to provide better retention of the microphone placement during more active performances.
The rugged PGXD1 bodypack transmitter easily clips onto a belt or guitar strap, and provides you with a 20Hz - 20kHz frequency range, up to 10 hours of continuous use on 2 standard AA batteries (not included), and 200' of wireless freedom.
The PGXD4 receiver offers 24-bit/48kHz accurate sound, offers technology for incredibly accurate sound, auto frequency selection, and greater reliability thanks to its true digital diversity.
