GS430S G has vibrant sound, excellent quality, and a superb price

By Tim Brogan from Storrs, CT on 2/16/2011 10:38:43 PM

If you play every acoustic in the room, you'll notice a noticeably louder, more vibrant sound from this one. Comparable to to much higher priced acoustics, this is an astounding deal. I bought a GS when I was a beginner, I'm now an advanced player who composes his own music. I still love this guitar and have never considered getting a new one. The fretboard, neck, and pegs are comfortable and ergonomic. The pegs tend to loosen over time so they may need a little tightening ever few times you restring. Other than that, no other mechanical or bodywork flaws. Frets are well crafted and are conducive to harmonics, which sound beautiful on this guitar. Guitar Body seems well proportioned for someone like me who is slightly above average height, about 6 feet tall. It sometimes digs into my chest when I intensely strum and lean over the body. This may, however, not be distinct to this guitar. Test for comfort, for it's the only reason you would not buy this guitar.
