Yamaha CSM-1465A Concert Snare w/ SS745A Stand
The Yamaha CSM-1465A delivers a powerful sound with its 6.5-inch, 6-ply maple shell. The Concert Snare Drum comes with two types of snares: a stainless steel coiled wire snare (standard) and a stainless straight cable snare (supplied), and can be used with either. The coiled wire snare offers a little longer sustain and is well suited for classical, march, popular and similar styles. The straight cable snare has a clear sound and delivers excellent performance, especially in halls that have long reverberation lengths or when playing intricate rhythms in an orchestral setting. Changing snares is quite easy, so both should be tried.
