8200 Series Field-Corp™ Multi-Toms

Yamaha's Field-Corps multi-toms are a quintet of drums that deliver a pure, focused tone that is maximized by a deeper, more balanced shell design. These toms are equipped with a lug that uses an arch-shape design that allows the shell to vibrate freely to deliver greater tone. The set contains a 6", 10", 12", 13" and 14" toms.

The Field-Corps multi-toms are also equipped with a 2.3mm thick, steel UltraHoop™ rim that is specially designed by Yamaha. Its profile protects the bearing edge from mallet sweeps, which is especially important as the rim height lowers as the drumhead stretches.

The multi-toms also use a high-strength aluminum reinforcement ring inserted just below the bearing edge to maintain shell integrity, especially important when high-tension tuning is used.

Air-Seal System Shells
All Yamaha marching multi-toms are made using Yamaha's patented Air-Seal System that ensures the shells start round and stay round: an in-round shell tunes with more clarity and provides a pure fundamental tone.
