for your child or beginner

By This is great from va. beach, va on 2/15/2011 10:32:01 PM

I want to begin by saying my daughter is all grown up now. But One of my happiest moments as a parent was when i could give her, her own little piano. the portable keyboard allowed for her learn music some on her own. Because it comes with eduacation kit. the fact that it was portable and you could take it with her to a friends house to get lessons later. It was so enjoyable to listen to her do her practice sessions. Knowing she was putting her little heart into it. An as she got better, the music seemed sweeter then honey and i just loved sitting and or doing the dishes in kitchen or go outside sitting in the yard while she would practice so i could her. A piece music you can take anywhere. An believe me you can take it anywhere even on a trip it travels just fine. You"ll find this is the best buy as a parent. Especially if it your first on and your children are new at it before you move up to higher end. you'll find that children get Frustrated and drop things when there upset and it will eaiser to replace this practicular model. plus it has basic things you need to get start. It wonderful Portable keyboard for your child or new beginner

Yamaha PSRE223 61-Key Portable Keyboard with Survival Kit

By Carlton Newton II from Daytona Beach, FL on 3/31/2011 11:52:40 PM

I recommend this particular keyboard because It allows me to learn and be creative in composing my own songs. The educational Kit is owesome because I can take it to my friends house and jam with them. I also liked the features it comes with such as the power supply, stereo headphones, an instructional DVD and my Mom especial loved the coupon savings and 2-year extended warranty just incase I were to drop it by accident like I did my laptop computer. I have really come a long ways in learning how to play the keyboard. I can play songs that I never thought I can play. My Mom started to cry when she heard me play a ABC by the Jackson Five. She also said that my Grandmother went to Juliard School of Music in New York where she learned to play the piano and also taught lessons. My favorite is the speakers on the keyboard, I like to play and enjoy the sound of the keyboard. I recommend this keyboard to a young teenager who is eager and wants to learn how to play without lessons necessarily and it will teach you how to improve which is really up to you.

Great for Beginners

By MLB from Jessup, MD on 2/15/2011 10:33:31 PM

This keyboard is a great start for a child who is excited to learn the piano but not sure if they will stick with it. My daughter is 10 years old and got this for Chirstmas. She has wanted a piano for about a year now. She already plays the Oboe and I wanted to be sure before a large investment that the piano is what she really wanted to do. The sound is very realistic. The internal teaching/tutorial is great. It slows down to repeated notes to let the player learn one note at a time. I can't believe she is already playing songs. Highly recommend for a child 10+. A little to much for someone younger.
