The Yamaha Student Snare Kit is centered around a newly designed Yamaha 12" snare drum, with a modular component system that reduces the carrying weight for students.

The kit includes a durable soft backpack style case with reflective safety stripes. The unique, compact 12" x 3" steel mini-snare joins light weight with quality sound and feel. The simple, durable snare strainer ensures ease-of-use. The internal snare mute is quiet and rattle-free, allowing you to dampen unwanted excess ring. A lightweight external snare mute is also included for quiet practice. The short base snare stand is lightweight, yet sturdy.
