Gator Cart Giveaway

Thanks to all the educators who participated in Music & Arts’ Gator 52-inch Utility Cart Giveaway. Equally strong and portable, Gator’s welded-steel 52-inch Utility Cart can convert into eight different configurations to handle whatever you and your students need to haul.

We’re pleased to announce the three winners. Meet them and read their stories below:

Brian G. - Riverside, CA

“I’m in my 19th year as a music educator and 12th year as the Instrumental Music Director for the award-winning Ramona High School in Riverside, California. My teaching responsibilities include the Ramona Dynasty Marching Band and Color Guard, Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Winds, String Orchestra, Percussion Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, Indoor Winds and Mariachi Dinastía de Ramona. Our ensembles have consistently performed well at the local, state and even national levels.

This Gator Utility Cart will help us move equipment like amps and cases to and from various areas on our campus, as well as when we travel to other performance sites. It will help transport our equipment safely and keep our students organized and ready for success.”

Dolly P. - Rome, N.Y.

“Bellamy Elementary School is located in Rome, N.Y.  This is my third year teaching in the Rome City School District. I am fortunate to work with our students in several capacities. I teach general music to students in kindergarten through sixth grade, as well as sixth grade band, and serve as a Woodwind Specialist with the Rome Free Academy (RFA) High School Marching Band, a.k.a. the Marching Black Knights.

Currently, I push into classrooms for my general music classes ‘on a cart.’ This new Gator Utility Cart will enable me to offer my students more musical opportunities. I will be able to bring larger classroom instruments, such as bucket drums, Tubano drums and Orff instruments into classrooms. It will also be a great help transporting gear this marching-band season. I am incredibly grateful to receive this prize!”
