Sharp and sleek with a trio of DiMarzio pickups.
The Ibanez Nita Strauss Signature JIVAX2 electric guitar is an eye-catching powerhouse designed for shredding. After years of touring the world and establishing her name in the LA rock scene, Strauss joined Alice Cooper’s band in 2014—since then she has become a household name in the guitar community, captivating audiences with her virtuosic chops and electric stage presence. The Nita Strauss Signature JIVAX2 has a quilted maple top which enriches the response for picking, and an African mahogany body for a rich mid-low end. The 5-piece maple/wenge neck provides enhanced resonance, and is paired with an ebony fingerboard and 24 jumbo frets with Prestige fret edge treatment for effortlessly fast playing.
The Nita Strauss Signature JIVAX2’s sound is driven by a trio of DiMarzio pickups—Pandemonium ceramic humbuckers at the neck and bridge, and a True Velvet alnico single-coil at the middle—bringing a modern take on classic rock sound. The Edge-Zero tremolo ensures extremely accurate playing, with Ibanez innovations to keep the string action constant and the bridge surface smooth. The specially designed arm socket prevents unnecessary wobble while providing full control over the arm's torque, and the zero point system offers much greater tuning stability. Additional appointments include Gotoh machine heads, Luminlay side dots and a locking nut. Comes with a hardshell case.
