200W Power Section and Premium Sica Speaker for Authoritative Bass Tone
The Combo of Doom is powered by a robust 200W amplifier driving a premium 12" Sica Neo speaker, delivering the punch and clarity bassists need in a compact combo format. This pairing produces deep, controlled low frequencies with strong midrange presence and articulate highs that remain clear in rehearsal rooms or live performance environments. Designed to provide the feel and response associated with larger bass rigs, the speaker and amplifier combination offers a balanced voice that works equally well for tight modern tones or fuller, vintage-inspired character.
Flexible Tone Shaping With 5-Band EQ and Shape Control
Built around Geezer Butler’s signature tonal approach, the Combo of Doom features a flexible tone-shaping section anchored by a 5-band EQ and Ashdown’s Shape control. This system gives bassists precise command over their sound, allowing them to dial in everything from thick, vintage-style growl to tight, aggressive modern punch. Whether refining stage tone, tailoring a recording signal or adapting to different musical styles, the intuitive EQ layout makes quick adjustments simple and effective.
Gig-Ready Connectivity and Portable U.K.-Built Design
Practical features make the Combo of Doom ready for real-world performance situations. An integrated FX loop allows seamless use of pedals and external processors, while the balanced DI output provides reliable connectivity for both live sound systems and studio recording setups. Auto-voltage operation ensures compatibility for global use, making the amp suitable for touring musicians. Housed in a lightweight enclosure finished in striking purple Tolex with a black grille, the Combo of Doom combines portability, distinctive style and dependable Ashdown craftsmanship.
