The DW5553 wooden straight mute is designed to fit flugelhorns. This mute offers excellent tone, color and works very well in softer dynamics. These mutes are constructed from birch that is marine-ply for added strength and lined with a vulcanized fiber for a warm sound. Available in natural finish.
