The body has 6-layer black and white binding and the easy-to-play hard maple neck has a 25.5" scale length with medium frets with a 1960s SlimTaper profile that makes playing chords and rhythm easy. The hand-glued dovetail neck joint also contributes to the EJ-200 Artist's deep rich bass, clear mids, and brilliant highs that fill a room with jumbo-sized projection and volume. The solid rosewood fingerboard is fully bound and inlaid with pearloid dot inlays for a simple but elegant look.
