The HT bridge pickup outperforms normal-spec pickups with more output, dynamic range and excellent touch sensitivity. The HT neck pickup, with coil-tap technology, offers superior power and enhanced richness, producing an authentic, rich single-coil sound when tapped.

The Jason Richardson Artist Series Cutlass features a lightweight alder body with a hand-selected Buckeye burl maple top, chosen for its beautiful appearance and rich tonal qualities. The roasted figured maple neck enhances stability and sustain, while the ebony fingerboard provides quick, articulate response, ideal for fast, intricate playing styles. The custom contoured lower horn offers extended access to all 24 stainless steel frets.

Enhanced Playability With Push-Push Boost Circuit

Built to Jason Richardson's exact specifications, the Cutlass incorporates a multitude of design features to further enhance comfort, playability and overall performance. The push/push volume knob activates a preamp boost, factory set to 12dB but adjustable up to 20dB via a trim pot in the control cavity. This provides the power needed for heavy rhythm parts or high-octane soloing whenever the user chooses.
