Ben Burnley baritone tone in an accessible LTD signature.

Ben Burnley has built a career turning heavy guitars into arena-sized hooks, and the BB-200 Baritone brings that Breaking Benjamin weight into an accessible LTD signature platform. Designed for the founder and frontman of the multi-platinum hard rock band, this 27" baritone model supports the extended downtuning behind Burnley’s modern rock and alt-metal sound. Its Eclipse single-cutaway body, set-neck construction, mahogany body, quilted maple top, red visual accents and ESP LH-150 humbuckers give players a signature guitar built for thick rhythm work, melodic leads and dramatic stage presence.

27" Baritone Eclipse Design

The BB-200 Baritone starts with LTD’s famous Eclipse body style and stretches it into a 27" scale format for modern downtuned playing. That longer scale helps maintain tension and note definition when the guitar is tuned below standard, giving heavy riffs a firmer feel and cleaner attack. The single-cutaway shape keeps the guitar familiar in the hands while the baritone scale expands the sonic range.

Set-Neck Mahogany and Quilted Maple Build

A mahogany body gives the BB-200 Baritone the weight and midrange authority expected from a heavy rock signature guitar. The quilted maple top adds a more upscale visual layer beneath the See Thru Black Sunburst finish, while set-neck construction supports a smooth connection between neck and body. The result is a guitar that looks dramatic without losing sight of the thick, focused tone Burnley’s style demands.

Maple Neck With Red Signature Details

A 3-piece maple neck provides stability across the longer baritone scale, helping the guitar feel secure under lower tunings and heavier string tension. The rosewood fingerboard carries 24 extra-jumbo frets for extended lead range, with red dot inlays tying the playing surface into the rest of the signature aesthetic. Red pickup bobbins and a red LTD logo give the BB-200 its unmistakable Burnley-inspired identity.

ESP LH-150 Humbuckers With Split Sounds

A set of ESP LH-150 humbuckers in the bridge and neck positions gives the BB-200 Baritone punchy, full-range electric tones for distorted rhythm, lead passages and cleaner layers. The push-pull switch on the tone knob adds single-coil-style sounds, making the guitar more flexible than a single-purpose heavy instrument. That expanded control set is useful for players who move between massive choruses, tighter verses and atmospheric clean sections.

Built for Breaking Benjamin-Inspired Range

Ben Burnley founded Breaking Benjamin in Pennsylvania and built the band around a mix of heavy riffs, dark melody and arena-sized choruses that helped define post-2000 hard rock. Songs such as “The Diary of Jane,” “So Cold,” “I Will Not Bow,” “Breath” and “Failure” show how his writing moves between low-tuned force, emotional hooks and clean atmospheric space. The BB-200 Baritone gives players an entry point into that language with a 27" scale, fixed TOM-style bridge and tailpiece, black nickel hardware and the extended-range feel needed for Burnley-inspired modern rock songwriting.
